Job Description: Elevare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Site Lead to oversee our team at a high-profile client site in Sandyford, Dublin. The Security Site Lead will be responsible for managing a team of 16-20 officers, including both officers and shift leads. This role is crucial in ensuring the daily operations of our physical security staff are conducted efficiently and effectively.
Minimum Salary: €55,000 (Depending on Experience & Neg)
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Regularly lead and manage a team of Security Officers, ensuring high performance and adherence to protocols.
- Training & Development: Monitor and assist with on-the-job training and coordination of client-specific training for new and existing employees. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the security team.
- Performance Monitoring: Routinely measure and assess the proficiency and effectiveness of physical security staff to ensure they meet Elevare and client expectations.
- Operational Oversight: Perform post inspections and control of employees during assigned shifts. Support the supervisor with the oversight of daily operations, including scheduling, drill coordination, and briefing leadership on incidents.
- Incident Management: Assist with physical security response for business disruptions and emergency response. Collaborate with internal teams to prepare for, respond to, and recover from incidents and emergencies.
- Communication: Maintain various records of communications and events. Communicate and disseminate information to key partners using established communication vehicles.
- Compliance & Safety: Regularly monitor work for legal or regulatory compliance while ensuring a safe and secure workplace.
- Project Management: Take an active role in position-related projects provided by the supervisor. Responsibilities will vary from consulting to owning projects based on individual capabilities.
- Equipment Management: Assist in managing the maintenance of tools and technologies necessary for daily operations. Determine the types of equipment needed for effective performance.
- Reporting & Analysis: Compile detailed reports on security activities, incidents, and overall performance. Present findings and recommendations to management to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Relationship Development: Foster strong relationships with team members to enhance collaboration and morale. Build and maintain positive relationships with the client, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a security leadership role, preferably in a high-profile or corporate environment.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in the security industry.
- Qualification in security or people related Management.
- Static Security Individual PSA Licensed.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions.
- Proficiency in using security technology and tools.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance in the security industry.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders.
