Celebrating Workplace Wellbeing Day in Ireland

Workplace Wellbeing Day, on 1st May, offers businesses the chance to celebrate the activities they’re putting in place for employees throughout the year.

As the first country in Europe to put in place a day devoted to workplace wellbeing, Ireland is truly leading the way. It’s significance is particularly important in this Covid-19 era, as our teams adjust to working from home and social distancing.

At Elevare, we are aware of the physical and mental wellbeing challenges that can affect staff, and the risk of these can be amplified during a pandemic.

Our dedicated employee LifeSpeak programme

Elevare’s LifeSpeak programme is an online platform that is available to all our staff. The programme focuses on sharing relevant mental health and wellbeing guidance, from expert blog series and Q&As to detailed tip sheets and training videos.

Topics vary from eating for optimal health to building engagement and motivation in your team and financial advice. At the moment, advice focuses around helping people to navigate and manage anxiety around the Covid-19 pandemic.

Some of the recent topics covered in LifeSpeak  include:

  • “Managing your money during a global pandemic”; sharing a Q&A with Shannon Lee Simmons, Certified Financial Planner and founder of the New School of Finance to help you manage some of the financial anxiety you may be feeling.
  • How to manage anxiety during the Covid-19 outbreak; A Q&A with Clinical Psychologist Dr. Brooke P. Halpern, Psy.D., J.D.
  • How to Make Working Remotely a Success – For Managers and Employees; A Q&A with Alan Kearns, Founder and Head Coach at CareerJoy.com

At Elevare we are passionate about the benefits of building a workplace where everyone feels they belong, learn and thrive and so celebrating Workplace Wellbeing Day in Ireland is important to us.  We are really proud of the fact that our most capable and ambitious people stay with us.
